OVERVIEW:
Servoreelers were developed to enable motorized deployment, positioning and retraction of a "live" suspended microphone. Their unique, patented designs deploy and retract suspended microphones by remote or computer control without affecting sound or signal quality. Servoreelers make the use of suspended microphones plausible in environments where they may otherwise be unwelcome, providing out-of-sight storage of hanging ceiling microphones when not in use, and silent deployment of ceiling microphones to determined stop point placement for ideal coverage when required.

  • Remotely deploy any microphone using a low voltage control signal.
  • Controlled by computer systems such as AMX, Crestron and REDCO.

  • Our optional ceiling bezel can stop a microphone flush with the ceiling.
  • Retraction and deployment speeds are each remotely adjustable.
  • 24Vdc DC power and control over single CAT5-RJ45 cable; (Like POE)
  • Designed to permit long cable runs between controller and Servoreelers®
  • Readily adapted to deploy larger diameter, multi conductor cable.
  • External cable lead length can be specified to suit site requirement.
  • Vertical mounting is standard. Horizontal operation is optional.
  • Multiple fail-safe design; protects against externally induced malfunction.
  • Sensors prevent the servo from overrunning the cable’s physical limits.
  • Servoreelers® are low voltage powered; AC is not required at the servo.
  • Digital encoder output and other customized options are offered.
